(The one catch is that the imported data is read-only, but this is ideal for things like pricing data or exchange rates.) The files will now be deleted off the desktop and placed in the recycle bin ready for full deletion when you next empty the recycle bin: When asked if you wish to delete these files to the recycle bin click “Yes”. Please highlight all three icons and press the “delete” key on your keyboard: You will see three files labeled “Update1.exe”, “fmp_11.0.1.105.exe” and “FMICD”. Once the FileMaker upgrade has been completed (steps 1-3), the final step is to delete the installation files off the desktop.
